Opened early in 2013 this represents a creative leap of thought by the management of the Melia Hotel. Out with the Brazilian outdoor restaurant and in with the uber modern sports bar with big screen TV, cool air jets and modern décor. This is the absolutely best place to watch a big sports event as long as you are happy paying slightly over the Havana norm for drinks and food.
There must be a dozen smaller TVs showing a wealth of other sports, which give you options if you don’t like the main event. Only real issue is that it seems quiet outside of big game time and lacks certain grittiness. There is no real bar to hang out on and chat shit with the bartender over the performance of your team.
