  • Of all the views in the entire world, this is the place. Well perhaps that is overstating things but the view is certainly spectacular from the 25th floor of the Habana Libre Hotel. You have a 180-degree view of much of Havana from the city to the sea.

Other than that, this is not really my sort of place. This is an elaborate fine dining experience with attentive service and reasonable international food but seems to fall somewhat flat and invariably is more expensive than you would pay for comparable food elsewhere. Enjoy (and pay for) that view. The other thing to bear in mind is that this is often very quiet with a lack of any real buzz. Even if there are other tables, they seem to get lost.

Personally, I prefer the Turquino disco, which is next door. Come for the view and go dance!
