Coloquio Internacional El cuerpo y sus economías en la cultura y la historia de mujeres de la América Latina y el Caribe

This is one more in a series of colloquiums being held since 1994 on the subject of women and Latin American and Caribbean culture: some of the topics covered will be: Owner and slave/boss and servant; from housewives to heads of households; Women and Work/ Women and salaries; Marriage/Motherhood/Celibacy/Prostitution; Women, fashion and models; Gertrudis Gomez de Avellaneda in her day and in ours. There will be master conferences and panels covering the colloquium topics as well as lectures, concerts and exhibitions by Cuban writers and artists.
